Created in Tayasui Sketches Pro. Like some of the app’s effects but at times the UI is frustrating.
“Dark-eyed Junco” (2024)
Without background and foreground.
With foreground and background.
Done in Adobe Fresco with their watercolor live brushes.
Some friends prefer the top rendering. I thought it needed to be grounded.??
“Unknown Veg” (2024)
Quickly drawn in Adobe Fresco. I imagined an aubergine but turned into something else. Could have changed the hue to a more purple but how long does one work on a quick piece.
“High Water” (2024)
Still playing with Adobe Fresco. Like the brush selections they offer each season.
“Russet Hills” (2023/24)
Experimenting in Adobe Fresco. Definitely not as user friendly as Procreate. Online help is not as detailed as that for Procreate.
“Amanita” (2023)
Playing around in Adobe Fresco. Have seen so many on our walks in the dunes. One was nine inches in diameter. The largest I have seen. Such a beautiful fungus. The reds are so gorgeous.
Holidays
Happy Festivus and peaceful holidays.
It was difficult to keep the “happy” in the artwork this year. Seemed peaceful was a better modifier.
“Happy (Peaceful) Holidays” (2023)
Done in Adobe Fresco on an iPad Pro.
Not everyone is celebrating a holiday and not everyone will have a happy holiday season. Perhaps “Peaceful” is a better modifier. A difficult decision.
“Autumn’s Final Glory” (2023)
Playing around with Adobe Fresco on the iPad Pro.
“The Three Chilis” (2023)
Started out as a test using the paint bucket fill function in Adobe Fresco and then the lasso and transform functions. Green and red being winter holiday colors and thought of the three wise men.
